Beginnings of the Guild
The Theatre Guild of Buchanan County, Inc. was established as a community theatre group dedicated to producing high-quality theatrical experiences.
School Stages
Grundy High School Days
Operating out of the local Grundy High School, we began focusing on bringing impactful performances to life through community volunteerism.
A Permanent Home
The Coca-Cola Plant Purchase
We purchased the former Coca-Cola Bottling Plant in Vansant, Virginia, to establish a central hub for the community arts.
Growing Community
Expanding the Vision
The Guild saw a surge in local support, leading to larger productions and broader workshops for aspiring actors of all ages.

Community Arts Mainstage
Following extensive renovations due to grant support the Community Arts Mainstage (The CAM) officially opened its doors as the premier venue for the Buchanan County community.
